What is Robo Coder Jr?
This is a beginner’s course for students with no robotics experience.

Using the latest LEGO® Spike™ Essentials robotic kits, your child will learn to build robotic models, program with icon and word based blocks and design variations that they can call their own. Most importantly, this will be their first encounter with introductory programming logic. The course is design to kick start and enhance your child’s problem solving skills in an interactive and fun way.

Your child will learn all about gears, motors, and sensors as your child gets hands-on experience building robotic models in their first exposure to STEM (Science Technology, Engineering and Math).
Course Structure
LEGO® Education SPIKE™ Essential is a hands-on, cross-curricular STEAM solution for primary students that builds science, math, literacy, and social-emotional skills through active learning.
Each level consists of 8 lessons.

Move from icon to word blocks involving through simple an interactive project models with sensors involving intermediate building techniques requiring basic problem solving

Acquire knowledge of advanced word blocks and further sharpen building and problem solving skills through interactive project models and missions, where one plans and codes to complete specific tasks. These missions are a great introduction to competition-styled projects.
